UPSC Prelims Toughter this year,Not possible to attempt more than 45%

Increased focus on questions related to science and technology,Climate,Biodiversity,History of India and Indian National Movement this year's Preliminary Examination conducted by UPSC on Sunday.

Questions on History of India and Indian National Movement increased to 21 from 14 last year.
Climate and Biodiversity went up to 14 from 11 last year.
Science and Technology increased to 12 from 8.
While Indian Polity and Economic development are lesser questions this year.

Questions are wide ranging based on intution and guesswork became crucial.More Factual questions in History and Polity are standard and Environment were tough and current affairs are bit easy.

Paper this year was different and Tough.Standard of testing the Candidate has been raised this year.
The result will be expected before july 20.
Based on the toughness of question paper the expected cutoff of the paper will be 105 to 110 for General category candidates, 100 to 105 for OBC, 85 to 90 for SC/ST.
